Moist and flavorful homemade banana bread recipe, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.
This recipe uses overripe bananas for the best flavor and is easy to make in under an hour.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until they're smooth. Add the granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
